Fall 2011 - 5 Beauty Trends you can start wearing now

Hot lips:
Spring/summer 2011 is all about bright lips in fuchsia, orange and red, and you’ll be happy to hear the bold lip trend will carry you into the fall in slightly deeper tones. If you don’t want to rush out and buy a new lippy, custom mix your lipsticks on the back of your hand just like make-up artists do. A great addition to any kit is black lipstick (currently sold in Mac cosmetic stores), as a touch of this will turn any summer shade into the perfect fall blend.

Bolder Brows:
Bolder brows dominated the Fall 2011 runways. If you’ve over plucked yours, our friends at Allergan are here to save the day as Latisse (commonly used for growing lashes) will actually help thicken inadequate or over plucked brows. Alternatively use a pencil (I like Revlon) or a soft toned eye shadow to fill in the brows and create a perfect arch.

Over the top lashes:
Over exaggerated lashes were seen at the Versace, Valentino and Lanvin Show. Apply multiple layers of mascara or opt for falsies – Oprah and Pamela Anderson are amongst the celebs that are known for wearing up to three pairs at once.

Metallic:
Shades of gold, silver and gunmetal are an instant way to add glamour to your look without straying from your neutral color palette. Add hints of metallic to eye lids for office chic or amp it up at night for cocktails with the girls.

Liquid Liner:
The sixties are hot again - as seen at the Marc Jacob's show. Since liquid liner is a classic that everyone can wear, it’s a look that is here to stay. I like gel liner, which, once on lasts all day even on the greasiest of faces. Try Makeup Forever or Bobbi Brown.
