This season ‘LASH FEVER’ is sweeping the nation with women everywhere clamoring to get their hands on the latest and greatest lash extending products.

With an overwhelming amount of options on the market it’s hard to stay focused on the game plan.

Fear not ladies – ‘OPERATION MAXI LASH’ can be accomplished in six easy steps!

Here is my Hollywood insiders guide on “How to apply individual lashes” that even your best friend won’t be able to tell for sure you are wearing!

Tools: (see photo)

· Individual lashes

· Duo glue (I prefer the dark tone as the white/clear glue can sometimes be seen in certain light)

· Tweezers

Application:

1. Start with clean dry lashes

2. Pop a smidge of glue on your hand

3. Using the tweezers, pick up a single lash and dip the root of the lash into the glue

4. Tilt your head up so that you are looking at yourself in the mirror with your eyes almost closed

5. Push each eyelash as close to your lash line as possible starting at the outer corner of your eye working in

6. Repeat on the other eye

Remember:

· Make sure not to apply the lashes above your lash line, as this will make your fake lashes more obvious than a bad boob job

· Apply between 5-7 individual lashes to each eye

· Allow glue to dry before carefully applying the mascara

I was the kid at school who was always given nicknames. Most were cute but the ones that stuck with me were the cruel ones intended to make the other kid’s laugh – ‘flat face’, and ‘pancake head’ were particular favorites and, although maybe apt at the time, fuelled an obsession in me. I believe beauty is an attitude, an air of confidence or radiant energy that comes from within, and it’s the imperfections that make beautiful women the most interesting.  My work has appeared all over the world, from the catwalks of London and Milan to the billboards of the U.S and Australia. I am currently a freelance make-up artist based in Los Angeles. I am the Co Founder and spokeswoman for Kitten Vixen Cosmetics - a brand I launched with my sister four years ago.
